Hacienda Nápoles is now a theme park with animals, water parks and museums in the Magdalena Medio region of Antioquia, about 4 hours from Medellín. Before you go, one thing is worth knowing: admission is sold as passports, and each passport includes different areas.

In this guide we explain how much it costs to get into Hacienda Nápoles in 2026, what each passport includes, the opening hours by season and what to keep in mind when buying. Prices are those published on the park’s official website in October 2026 and may change.

Hacienda Nápoles prices 2026

The park sells three adult passports. Each one has a full price and a discounted price, which applies depending on the date and the promotions running in the official online store.

What each passport includes

Basic Passport

This is the option for those who want to see animals and learn the history of the place. It includes the wildlife sanctuaries, home to hippos and many other species, many of them rescued; Aventura Jurásica (Jurassic Adventure), with life-size dinosaur sculptures; and the museums, which tell the story of the estate and its transformation into a park. It does not include the Octopus or the water parks.

Safari Passport

This is the most popular choice for families going for just one day. On top of everything in the Basic, it includes the Octopus and Aventura Acuática (Water Adventure), with the Cataratas Victoria and Cobras water parks, ideal for cooling off in the Magdalena Medio heat.

Premium Passport

Designed for those staying several days in the area. It adds Mundo de Pangea and Parque Congo, an area that opens in the afternoon and evening, and it is valid for 3 days. If you go on a day tour from Medellín, you usually won’t have time to make the most of it. On our tour you can upgrade to Premium by adding COP 60,000 per person to the Safari Passport.

Is it better to go on a tour or on your own?

Going on your own means buying your ticket online, taking a bus of about 4 hours to Doradal and then getting to the park entrance. On the Hacienda Nápoles Tour we pick you up at your hotel in Medellín, transportation and breakfast are included, and park admission is arranged with the passport you choose: Basic, from COP 259,000 per person, or Safari, from COP 299,000. If you want to visit Mundo de Pangea and Parque Congo, you can upgrade to Premium by adding COP 60,000 per person to the Safari Passport.

How to get to Hacienda Nápoles

The park is in Doradal, a district of Puerto Triunfo, at kilometer 165 of the Medellín–Bogotá highway. From Medellín you take the highway east: the route passes through Marinilla, Cocorná and the Río Claro canyon before descending into the Magdalena Medio. By car or bus it takes about 4 hours, depending on traffic and roadwork.

If you go by bus, take one bound for Doradal or Puerto Triunfo from the North Bus Terminal (Terminal del Norte), and ask to be dropped off at the park entrance or take local transportation from town. Inside the park there is a themed hotel for those who want to stay overnight and enjoy more than one day.
